Notable Goals
  • Diogo Jota, Liverpool - Jota, who scored nine goals for Liverpool last season scored (2) for the second straight match
  • Danny Ings, Aston Villa - Ings, in his first season with Villa after three seasons with Southampton scored (2) for the second straight match. He scored 22 goals during the the 2019-20 campaign. 
  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Everton - Calvert-Lewin, 24, has increased his Premier League scoring output in each of his first five seasons with Everton (1, 4, 6, 13, 16). Now in his sixth season with the club, he has scored (2) in each of their first two matches.
  • Jack Grealish, Manchester City - After a ten year run with Aston Villa, Grealish joined Manchester City earlier this month and notched his first goal (1) of the Premier League season with his new club. Grealish scored six times last season for Aston Villa. 
  • Neal Maupay, Brighton & Hove Albion - Maupay scored (2) for the second straight match as Brighton & Hove Albion find themselves with six points through their first two matches. 
  • Mason Greenwood, Manchester United - The 19 year old Greenwood has now scored (2) in two straight matches for United. He now has 19 Premier League goals in parts of four seasons. 
  • Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea - The veteran Lukaku scored his first goal (1) in his return to Chelsea as they defeated rival Arsenal 2-0. Lukaku scored 24 goals for Inter Milan in Serie A during the 2020-21 season. 
  • Michail Antonio, West Ham - Now in his 7th year with West Ham, Antonio has never suited up for the English National Team, but after scoring a pair of goals against Leicester City (3) he finds himself atop the scoring table. Antonio, 31, scored ten goals in each of the last two seasons.
