Every year it seems I get excited about the CCL, and every year MLS breaks my heart as the championship draught continues. Never has an MLS side won the CCL in its current format (2008-Present), falling short year after year to clubs from Liga MX. Once again, there's opportunity for optimism as all five MLS sides have advanced to the quarterfinals in this year's tournament. Will this be the year?
