U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball Wins Again

Led by Jayson Tatum's 27 points and a solid all-around effort from Kevin Durant, the U.S. Men erased an early first quarter deficit, and destroyed the Czech Republic 119-84. Here are the U.S.'s updated scoring, rebounding and assist leaders through three games:

After finishing in second place in Group A, the U.S. has clinched a spot in the quarterfinals which take place on the third of August. Group C concludes group play tomorrow (August 1st) to decide the remaining quarterfinalists and seeding.

After having his first goal of the season re-scored as an own goal against Strasbourg, Kylian Mbappé again got on the score sheet, as did Idrissa Gueye, Ángel Di María and Ander Herrera. PSG never trailed scoring the match's opening two goals, and then answering both of Brest's goals with additional scores. While they have 10 goals through their first three matches, PSG still hasn't seen the season debuts of Neymar or newcomers Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos, but obviously it hasn't been an issue thus far.

Durant Leads U.S. Men's Basketball to Olympic Gold

With 81 points in the U.S.'s three knockout round games, Kevin Durant carried the U.S. to wins over Spain, Australia and France on their way to a fourth consecutive Olympic Gold Medal. Durant eclipsed 20 points four times for the United States capped with a 29-point effort in the Gold Medal match against France, avenging the U.S.'s only loss in the tournament.
